CASL Ambassadors
Created in 2019, the CASL Ambassadors Program was created in order to provide CASL Delegates and student leaders around the state (and country!) the opportunity to get involved with CASL and serve on the statewide level. We host monthly conference calls, SWAP sessions, serve on CASL Committees, and help out wherever we can. All students, grades 5-12, are welcome to join.
Become a CASL Ambassador!
Hi! My name is Ananya Kshirsagar. I am a sophomore at San Marcos high school in Southern California. Being a CASL ambassador has been an incredible journey filled with growth, learning, and connection. I’ve cherished every moment as I’ve had the privilege of meeting inspiring individuals and exchanging innovative ideas that I’ve eagerly brought back to my ASB program. The experience has been invaluable, providing me with a platform to not only share but also absorb insights from passionate leaders like myself. Being surrounded by a community that values leadership as much as I do has been empowering. I’m immensely grateful for this opportunity as it has not only helped me grow personally but has also equipped me with invaluable tips to enhance my school’s ASB program. The chance to engage with diverse perspectives and cultivate a network of like-minded individuals has been truly rewarding.
My name is Brooke Saavedra, and I am a junior at Golden Valley High School! Like many others, I joined the Ambassador Program to get involved with CASL, but it turned out to be so much more than that. This program has given me an unforgettable experience, and amazing friendships, and helped me cultivate my leadership skills. The monthly calls have provided me with unique opportunities that I don’t think I could have gotten anywhere else. I am grateful to everyone involved in this program and to all the individuals who are open to growth and positive change. If I had to convey a message to anyone, it would be this: join the CASL Ambassadors program, not just to get more involved, but to develop your character, improve your leadership abilities, and build long-lasting connections with incredible individuals! I am so proud to have the privilege to call myself a CASL Ambassador, and you can, too!
As a CASL Ambassador I have been able to learn a bunch of new leadership skills that I have applied to my leadership class at my school and throughout each day. It could be from learning to properly communicate with my classmates, or maybe just learning to speak up and have my ideas heard in the class. Overall, being an ambassador has just helped me grow as a leader and improve myself as a person.
